Door Module Front II

This example application diagram shows a full -featured door module connected to the body network (e.g. central body computer) via the LIN bus using an XC866 8-bit microcontroller.

This design example uses a System Basis Chip (SBC) as a combination voltage regulator and network transceiver. All door module functionality is implemented using separate drivers, only the mirror x-y function is combined with cascaded half-bridges.
