OptiMOS™3 60 V and 80 V – the next level of power density

The OptiMOS ^TM3 60 V and 80 V technologies are the next addition to the family of OptiMOSTM3 low-voltage products from Infineon Technologies. Based on the successful OptiMOS ^TM3 technology it features simultaneously lowest on-state resistance as well as highest switching performance. Supported by a wide portfolio, the OptiMOS ^TM3 60 V and 80 V product families offer the right products for a wide range of applications.
The IPB 025N08N3 G is the new benchmark for low-ohmic MOSFETs in the 80 V class. The worlds lowest RDS(on) of 2.0mΩ (typ.)(2.5mΩ (max)) combined with a thermal resistance of 0.5° K /W and an unrestricted continuous current rating of 120 A sets new standards. With the IPD 038N06N3 G offering an R _DS(on) of 3.1mΩ (typ.) (3.8mΩ (max)) in 60 V the performance of a D2PAK sized product is now available in a DPAK cutting down required board space by 50 %.
